Bongseonhwa fingernail dying

Bongseonhwa fingernail dying is a traditional Korean beautifying process for the fingernails. This process dyes the fingernails orange using the flower ''bongseonhwa''. In Latin, this flower is called Impatiens balsamina. In English, it is called “touch-me-nots” and “spotted snapweeds”. It blooms in the late summer.
== Importance ==

''Bongseonhwa'' fingernail dying is a Korean custom passed down from generation to generation. It is usually done after the summer rainy season. Tradition holds that if your nails are still orange by the time the first snow falls, you will marry your first love.〔http://jejulife.net/2008/10/24/bong-seon-hwa-dyeing-fingernails-a-yearly-traditional-korean-custom-by-sherrin-hibbard-jeju-south-korea/〕
